Maison Keshett was established in Melbourne in 1979 by Eugene and Paula Keshett, opening its first boutique on Little Collins Street within Melbourne Chambers- the heart of the city's traditional jewellery precinct. From its inception, the house has been shaped by a single idea: that jewellery exists across time. Antique and vintage pieces, Art Deco works, contemporary design and bespoke creations are brought together within the same world, each defined by craftsmanship, provenance and intention.
Eugene and Paula travelled across the world sourcing jewellery of rarity and distinction, building a collection centred on the Art Deco, Edwardian, Art Nouveau and Victorian periods. Over more than four decades, the house has moved between discovery and creation: sourcing rare jewels across continents while designing pieces that continue the language of fine jewellery in the present day. Some pieces are found. Others are made. All are selected with the same consideration.
Today, the legacy continues through Dana and Zac, who carry the family's vision forward across both Keshett and its sister house, REIGNE Jewellery. Two generations, one continuous pursuit of jewellery that earns its place across a lifetime.
In 2016, Keshett opened a second home within the Block Arcade, one of Melbourne's most celebrated heritage interiors. Built in the late nineteenth century and known for its mosaic flooring, ornate detailing and glass canopy, the arcade remains among the city's most recognisable architectural spaces. Within this setting, the Keshett atelier takes on a more intimate character. Antique and vintage jewellery sits alongside contemporary creations and sculptural gemstone designs, Victorian and Edwardian pieces, Art Deco works, rare coloured gemstones and modern jewels, connected by craftsmanship, character and enduring design.
The boutique invites a slower rhythm, a closer view, a different way of looking. Each piece reveals its details gradually, rewarding time, attention and curiosity. Keshett prides itself on its offering of masterfully and beautifully designed engagement rings and wedding bands, including a dedicated selection of men's wedding bands, to mark one of life's most considered purchases.
Beyond Art Deco and vintage, Keshett specialises in antique jewellery restoration and repair, exclusive vintage pieces from Tiffany, Cartier and Bulgari, vintage designer timepieces from houses such as Chopard, Cartier and Rolex, the full range of coloured stones, Argyle diamonds and South Sea pearls, jewellery valuation, and bespoke wedding bands and engagement rings.
